Too early for a backyard swim?

Well the weather today was beautiful and HOT. I think we got into the high 80's. Daniel helped me wash the Jeep so I promised him, he could fill up the pool. We quickly realized that the hose water was too cool, so I had to bring in hot water from the house. They both had a blast. I am looking forward to summer, looks like I have another water baby.

I had the honor of hosting Sara's baby shower on Sat. We had a great turn out and lots of great food. Thanks Rikki for helping out. I think Sara got a lot of nice gifts.

Earth Day at the ZOO

Well Sat was beautiful and we decided early to go to the ZOO. We did not know they were celebrating Earth Day. We had a blast. We were able to watch them feed the Lions and Daniel had fun playing in the Kids Zone.

Today I met Morgan, Krissy and Leah at Triad Park with all the kids, 7 in all. It was very windy, but we had fun.

Here they are..(color isn't as good as orginals)...By the way at her Drs appointment yesterday she was 22 lbs 5 ozs(correction), and 28 1/4 inches long. She gained less than a 1 lb in 3 months(I know surprising and grew 2 inches)

Sydney 9 Months Old

Today Sydney is 9 months old. She now has 6 teeth(4 up top and 2 down bottom.) She is sitting by herself and trying to crawl. She likes to push herself backwards or roll around. She loves her walker and likes to chase Daniel around. She really likes the freedom to go where she wants. Sometimes she will sit in the walker by the back door watching the birds/cats in the back yard for 20 minutes or so. She tries to talk to them. She is always happy, unless she is hungry or tired. Her smile is contagious. She also loves to giggle. Thank you Jesus for this precious, happy, healthy baby girl.

Fun times with PaPa Peter

Stefan's dad came to visit us for 4 days. We had fun. We celebrated Stefan's birthday and Daniel was so excited to show PaPa Peter all of his tricks. He even got to feed Sydney. Can't wait until next time.

Happy Birthday Stefan!!!!

Well Stefan turned 35 today. We went for sushi yesterday since Daniel had Awana tonight. But I baked a cake and Daniel helped to blow out the candles. Stefan's dad Peter is in town so he helped us celebrate. Stefan is very stressed about work, so hopefully this was a nice relaxing evening.

Pizza Playdate

Well last week we had a playdate with Morgan and her girls. We played in the awesome playroom and enjoyed some fun rides out in the yard. We then came in and made homemade pizza with the kids. They loved it. They were very good. Must do this again.
